EPA Certification – Absolute Chiller Services

Our team holds Universal EPA 608 Certification, which authorizes us to recover, reclaim, and recycle refrigerants from all types of HVAC and refrigeration systems—including chillers, commercial systems, and industrial-grade equipment.

By following EPA-approved procedures, ACS ensures:

  • Proper recovery of refrigerants to prevent emissions
  • Safe and legal reclamation to AHRI-700 purity standards
  • Environmentally sound practices that help protect the ozone layer and reduce greenhouse gas emissions

Choosing ACS means working with a partner committed to regulatory compliance, environmental stewardship, and the responsible management of refrigerants at every stage of their lifecycle.

Our Services

Recovery

Minimize down time and labor costs.

ACS provides high speed recovery equipment to handle low, high, and ultra-high pressure refrigerants by utilizing the Reftec Recovery and custom built equipment to aid in transfer of different gas' and liquids.

ACS's certified technicians will go to your project site and recover refrigerants faster than conventional methods.

Our recovery systems minimize down time and labor costs, resulting in reduced operational costs for you and your clients.

Reclamation

We restore your refrigerant to manufacturers specifications.

Instead of replacing, let ACS reclaim your refrigerants at our local facility. We use state of the art reclamation equipment.

The ACS reclamation process consists of a multi-stage evaporative distillation system, followed by a bank of eight specially designed, cascading filters. This proven process removes particulates, non-condensables, oils, chlorides, waxes, acids and moisture, and restores your refrigerant to manufacturers specifications.

Reclaimed refrigerants are certified to meet the same exacting AHRI-700 standards as newly manufactured material.

Mixed Refrigerant Separation

Reclaiming and recovery of cross-contaminated refrigerants.

ACS has the technology in separating mixed refrigerants. This service separates refrigerants mixed with other refrigerants, acids, and other components. These cost effective technologies return valuable refrigerants to commerce, while meeting all environmental regulations.

No longer will valuable refrigerants require destruction due to cross-contaminated refrigerants and chemicals.

High yield separation of mixed refrigerants.

High yields are important for our customers with the more valuable refrigerants that are in diminishing supply. Any remaining intermediaries are held for the customer's account and blended into future batches.

Examples of refrigerants processed.

  • Separation of mixed refrigerants
  • Various number of mixed components such as R-11, R-123, R-513, R-410A, R-404A, R-134A, R-407C, R-245fa and R-22
  • 400 series refrigerant blends separated into components 99.5% purity

Helping customers with environmental compliance.

ACS provides expert solutions in reclaiming and recovery of cross-contaminated refrigerants. ACS can guide you through the regulation to give you peace of mind that you are in compliance.

  • Submit samples for testing and evaluation
  • Stop paying exorbitant disposal costs

Refrigerant Analysis

You'll know the exact quality of your refrigerant.

ACS provides a complete refrigerant analysis laboratory according to AHRI-700 specifications. We check for purity, moisture, chlorides, acidity, oil content, particulates, non-condensables, and more.

Accurate refrigerant analysis leads to smarter, data-driven refrigerant management decisions.

By knowing the exact quality of your refrigerant, you can eliminate guess work and avoid costly, unnecessary replacements.

For complete AHRI-700 analysis we use certified refrigerant analytical laboratories.
